Trip Itinerary
The holy city of Puri is located 60-km from Bhubaneswar on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the four holy dhamas of India - Puri, Dwarka, Rameswaram and Badrinath. It is considered that a pilgrimage of the temples of India is not complete without making the journey to Puri.
Day 1: Bhubaneswar-Chilika-Puri
Today proceed for a day’s visit to Chilka Lake, famous for its migratory birds and irwadai dolphins. Chilka Lake in Orissa is Asia's largest inland salt-water lagoon studded with small islands & Kalijai temple.Later proceed to puri.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Puri-Konark
Today Exc. for Konark,enroute visiting Ramchandi and Fishermen village.Afternoon proceed for a visit of Puri, famous for its Golden beach, but the fame of Puri emanates most from the Jagannath Temple, which contributed the word Jurrernaut to the English language. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Return from Puri
Today you will visit Pattachitra painting crafts village noted for its pattachitra paintings, also visit Sakhi Gopal temple, Fishermans village and Gundicha Mandir a temple located at the end of Grand road about 3 kms northeast of the Jagannatha temple. Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 4: Bhubaneswar Airport drop
After Breakfast Transfer to airport for your next Journey .
